Early colonists brought herb seeds and cuttings across the Atlantic, treasuring them for cooking, medicine, dyes, and fragrance. Dooryard gardens — planted near the home for easy access — became a hallmark of colonial life. This authentic collection recreates that tradition with 8 heirloom seed packets: Parsley, Chives, Lemon Balm, Anise Hyssop, Dill, Sweet Fennel, German Chamomile, and Trailing Nasturtium. Includes plant labels and a garden design card to guide your planting. Developed by Burpee in partnership with the American Horticultural Society.
