The Christopher Ludwick cookie board is an 18th century, two-sided carved gingerbread mold once used by Christopher Ludwick, Superintendent of Bakers under General George Washington during the Revolutionary War. The original mold — which is in the Museum's collection — features two designs: an intricate potted flower on one side and a well-dressed lady on the other. This reproduction was created by House on a Hill in partnership with the Museum. A printed gingerbread recipe and history card are included. The mold is 6.5" x 3.625" x 1.125" and has a hook for hanging.
